Prefeasibility and Feasibility Studies

AME Ltda has the expertise to undertake the process plant components of bankable feasibility and prefeasibility studies. We have excellent relationships and fast access to cost engineers, a drafting and MicroStation team, mine electrical experts, and civil/construction resources. We also have extensive relationships with all of the major plant equipment providers and a complete and up-to-date database of capital and operating costs.

• Our feasibility studies are highly reliable because our process design is economically optimized for the ore that the plant will be treating. We combine a geometallurgical ore characterization program with the mine sequence plan, allowing us to optimize the plant design from both a capital expenditures perspective and from a discounted cash flow perspective (depending on the strategic interests of the owner).
• We base our work on proper testwork aimed to provide the investor or lender a detailed account, year by year, of production figures, grades of products and cash flow.
• AME Ltda has good relations with engineering companies and we are often asked to provide third-party assistance to ongoing studies, either on behalf of the owner or on behalf of the engineering company. This allows the owner to customize our roll for their unique situation and available resources.
